Banana Nut Cake              

                              
2 cups flour            
1 1/2 cups sugar
1teaspoon baking soda    
1/2 teaspoon salt           
3-4 banana (mashed)
2 eggs
4 Tblspoons buttermilk   
1 cup shortening          
1/2 cup chopped pecans  

Mix flour, sugar,  baking soda & salt together. Add mashed bananas, eggs, buttermilk, pecans and shortening, mix well. Pour into a floured & greased bundt pan.                               

Cook in oven at 375F degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean in the center of cake.      

Icing

1 cup pecans,chopped      
1 cup milk          
1 cup dates (cut up)       
1 Tblspoon flour         
2 cups sugar                
1/2 stick butter               

Mix all together and cook until thick. Pour over cooled cake.
