Tater Tot Casserole

2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
1/3 cup onion, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
(Note: May use 2 cans cream of potato soup & 1 can cream of chicken soup)
1/2 cup of water
1 lb. grated Colby Jack Cheese or Velveeta or use 1/2 of each
1 – 2 lb. pkg. tater tot rounds
13X9 inch glass baking dish
Pour drained ground beef with onions into baking dish. Heat soups and water to boil stage and pour over meat. Spread cheese on top. Add tater tot rounds to completely cover the top of the cheese.
Bake 350 degrees until brown approximately 1 hour.
Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
NOTE: A can of veg-all can be added or use a can of french style green beans with a can of cream style corn. Drain juice before adding to meat mixture.
